Buccia Nera is a familiy farm, organic since 2002: all chemicals, pesticides and insecticides have been eliminated. The principles of organic farming have been integrated with the principle of sustainability, water and energy conservation, aatention to waste disposal, recycling of materials and use of it.
Hand picking of the grapes and their inmediate transformation allow to preserve the integrity and qualy of the grapes.
The wine cellar, open everyday for tours and visits, is for one side modern with stainless steel tanks, temperature-controlled, and for the other side traditional with the use of oak barrel.
The vinification of our wines is done naturally, without the use of additives, just controlling the temperature of the tanks. Carefull and limited use of sulfur allows to have a very low quantity of SO2.
The winery offers tours and tasting both for groups and individual in different languages.
