Das Augustiner Chorherrenstift liegt 5 km nördlich von Brixen und wurde 1142 gegründet. Neustift ist heute noch ein lebendiges Kloster mit reger Weiterbildungstätigkeit, viel Kunstgeschichte und einer renommierten Weinkellerei. Besonders sehenswert sind die barocke Stiftskirche, der gotische Kreuzgang, die Rokoko-Bibliothek und die historische Pinakothek.
L’Abbazia di Novacella si trova a 5 km a nord di Bressanone e fu fondata nel 1142. Novacella è ancora oggi un convento attivo con un vivace programma educativo, una lunga storia dell’arte e una notevole cantina vini. Meritano una visita in particolare la chiesa in stile barocco, il chiostro gotico, la biblioteca in stile rococò e la pinacoteca storica.
