Seit 1998 in 2. Generation produziert die Baumschule Armin Hafner jährlich auf den sandigen, fruchtbaren Böden der Poebene in Badia Polesine (Rovigo) auf einer Fläche von über 50 ha 450.000 Apfelbaume, 600.000 schlafende Augen und 1 Million virusfreie, zertifizierte Apfelunterlagen M9 T337 und M26 IVT. Zusätzlich bewirtschaften wir in unserem Betrieb in Badia Polesine seit 2005 noch 9 ha Obstbau von denen eine Fläche von 5 ha mit der weltweit ersten größeren Schniga-Anlage mit virusfreien Material angepflanzt wurde, welche neben der Apfelproduktion auch als CAC- Schnittgarten dient. Die gesamte Baumproduktion wird in den 5.500 m² fassenden Kühlzellen bzw. Lagerhallen gelagert. Alle Kühlzellen sind mit neuwertigen Wasserbefeuchter, welche feinsten Nebel produzieren, und zusätzlich mit einer Sprinkleranlage für die Desinfektion ausgestattet.
Starke, gut bewurzelte Unterlagen aus eigener Produktion bilden die Basis für einen kräftigen, gut verzweigten Knip-Baum, dessen Produktion 90 % bzw. 1-jährige Baum die restlichen 10 % ausmachen. Die gesamte Baumschule ist seit 2008 mit einer Tropf-bewässerung bzw. Fertigation ausgestattet, sodass wir eine jährliche Ausbeute von
80 – 85% an erster Qualität erzielen können.

resente nel mercato dagli anni’60 il vivaio Hafner si è sviluppato sempre di più, passando dal padre al figlio Armin Hafner, ora unico titolare dell’azienda “ARMIN HAFNER VIVAI PIANTE” e membro del comitato della Schniga S.r.l., nel quale occupa un ruolo importante.
Il punto fondamentale della nostra azienda vivaistica è la produzione di piante sane e certificate.
Su una superficie di 50 Ha produciamo annualmente 450.000 piante di melo nelle diverse varietà e tipologia, e 500.000 occhi dormienti. Nella nostra ceppaia certificata produciamo all’anno circa 1.000.000 di portainnesti virus esenti quali: M9 T337 e M26IVT per il nostro fabbisogno e la vendita.
Portainnesti sani, vigorosi e ben radicati, marze virus esenti e selezionate che acquistiamo da fonti europee controllate, sono la base per la produzione delle nostre piante.

La produzione di piante viene lavorata in magazzino per essere poi conservata su 5.500 m² di celle frigo speciali. Tutte le celle sono munite di un nuovo sistema di umidificazione, che produce una leggera e costante presenza di acqua nebulizzata che con l’impianto a Sprinkler provvede a mantenere il prodotto sempre sano.
Tutta l’azienda dal 2008 è interamente attrezzata con l’impianto di irrigazione a goccia che permette di gestire al meglio la fertirrigazione per garantire una produzione annuale di ottima qualità.

Created in 1998 and now in its second generation of owners, the Armin Hafner Nursery produces 450,000 apple trees, 600,000 dormant buds and 1 million virus-free, M9 T2337 and M26 IVT-certified apple rootstocks per year on more than 50 hectares of sandy, fertile soil of the Po river valley in Badia Polesine (Rovigo). Since 2005, our nursery in Badia Polesine has also been cultivating a further 9 hectares of fruit trees - 5 hectares of which are dedicated to the world's largest Schniga plantation stocked with virus-free material, which not only produces apples but is also used as a CAC cutting nursery. The crops are all stored in 5,500 m² of cold rooms and warehouses. All cold rooms are fitted with modern vaporisers that produce a fine mist, as well as a sprinkler system for disinfection.
Strong, well-rooted rootstocks from our own nursery form the basis for a strong, well-branched knip-boom tree, whose crops account for 90% and the 1-year old tree the remaining 10%. The whole nursery was fitted with a drip irrigation and fertigation system in 2008, so that we could achieve an annual prime quality yield of 80 - 85%.
