The ORSITALIA company embodies over sixty-five years of experience in the world of classic and Baroque furniture.

In 1950 the founder Angelo Orsi starts his long career as a businessman in Meda, in the heart of Brianza which is the symbol of excellence in manufacturing and design, where, in 1972, he founded the furniture’s company that bore his name. The Orsi Angelo s.a.s. company has showed a strong international spirit since the beginning and made soon a name for itself as a symbol of Made in Italy craftsmanship in all areas of his branch, both in Italy and abroad. In 1982 the company decided, in order to finally open its doors to the international market, to take part in the 21st edition of the “Salone Internazionale del Mobile” in Milan. Since then the Orsi Angelo s.a.s. has participated to at this fair every year without interruption, until now.
In 1993, thanks to his children Carla and Oscar who entered in the company, the Orsi Angelo s.a.s. reaches a new turning point. Thanks to their ideas and their creativity, the firm has exceeded the boundaries of the classic Baroque and in 2001, with the creation of the Oscar® brand, the company has opened its doors to the world of design. This encounter gave birth to a line of products that revisited the Baroque furniture in a modern and contemporary view, creating a perfect combination of classic and modern style. Thanks to the revolutionary idea of combining the classic baroque furniture with new material, such as fur, and bright and shiny colors, the company has received high acclamation all over the world. The constant desire for innovation in 2009 has lead to the birth of the new brand Oscaritalia®, that has characterized a line of elegant and sophisticated models and even an outdoor line.

Today the company has entered in the third generation, thanks to the entry of Angelo’s nephew Matteo at the helm of the family business, who founded our new firm ORSITALIA. ORSITALIA has the purpose to unite the classical world, that gave born to the Orsi Angelo company, and the world of design that characterized the brand Oscaritalia®. ORSITALIA is born with the aim of valuing the baroque world that characterizes our history since the beginning, while keeping intact the pursuit of modernity and innovation that has always distinguished us, rigorously Made in Italy.

ORSITALIA nasce da oltre sessant’anni di esperienza nel mondo dei salotti classici e in stile.

Nel 1950 il fondatore Angelo Orsi inizia a Meda, nel cuore della Brianza simbolo di eccellenza manifatturiera e design, la sua lunga carriera di imprenditore nel mondo dei salotti e nel 1972 fonda l’azienda omonima. La ditta nasce fin da subito con una forte indole internazionale, facendo conoscere rapidamente il nome Orsi Angelo e il Made in Italy artigianale in tutti gli ambienti del settore, sia in Italia che all’estero. Nel 1982 l’azienda decide, per consacrare definitivamente l’apertura al mercato internazionale, di partecipare alla 21a edizione del Salone Internazionale del Mobile di Milano, al quale ha poi partecipato ininterrottamente fino ad oggi.

Nel 1993, grazie all’ingresso in azienda dei figli Carla e Oscar, l’azienda Orsi Angelo giunge ad un nuovo punto di svolta. Grazie alle loro idee e alla loro creatività, la ditta supera i confini del barocco classico e nell’anno 2001, con la nascita del marchio Oscar®, l’azienda apre le porte al mondo del design, creando una linea di prodotti che rivisitano in chiave moderna e contemporanea i salotti in stile, per creare un perfetto incontro tra classico e moderno. Grazie all’idea rivoluzionaria di abbinare ai salotti barocchi tessuti e pellicce dai colori sgargianti, l’azienda si afferma a livello internazionale dove riscuote notevoli apprezzamenti. La continua volontà di innovazione porta nel 2009 alla nascita del nuovo marchio Oscaritalia®, che caratterizza una linea di prodotti eleganti e ricercati e persino una linea outdoor.

Giunti oggi alla terza generazione, con l’inserimento del nipote Matteo alla guida dell’azienda di famiglia, nasce ORSITALIA, unione tra il mondo classico da cui è nata la ditta Orsi Angelo e il mondo del design del marchio Oscaritalia®, che ci ha reso grandi negli ultimi quindici anni. ORSITALIA nasce con l’obiettivo di rivalorizzare il mondo barocco che fin dagli inizi caratterizza la nostra storia, mantenendo però intatta la continua ricerca della modernità e dell’innovazione che da sempre ci hanno contraddistinto, rigorosamente Made in Italy.
