We are an innovative company, with a tradition of our own, and a philosophy we continue to pursue. Giuseppe Corengia established CGM in 1979 at Mariano Comense, in the province of Como.

In the 80s, the dynamic founder was joined by his wife in administration, and then his two older children, who followed in his footsteps in the 90s after being part of the family business life since the day they were born.

CGM is certainly that, a family business, particularly evident in the passion of the people who work here and our dedication to each and every one of our products, as well as being intertwined with modern industrial management practices, made possible by the latest technologies and by skilled workers.

Furthermore, the entrepreneurial qualities of the CGM management have encouraged other important investments as well as constant technological upgrading.

First and foremost, those of a promotional nature: we participate in the major trade fairs of the sector. We began with exhibitions in Milan in 1982 and Pesaro in 1983, and since 1989 we have had a stand every year at the leading trade fair in Frankfurt.

The structural development of our company has been just as important. In 1979, CGM had a 1,600 m2 warehouse, with workbenches for handwork and modern robots connected to industrial computers of the latest generation. In 1998, we expanded our structure with a second 1,000 m2 warehouse in an industrial area of 7,000 m2.

This is a brief look at our history, and some of the major stages in a journey down a road to success we have every intention of treading for many years to come.
