Erice Tourism is a young entrepreneurial venture active in the tourism sector, aimed at organizing tourist and gastronomic itineraries in Erice and the Trapani region. Working with the patronage of the Erice town council Erice Tourism manages the tourist information service in the historic centre of the medieval village. Its mission is to improve the quality of the relationship between visitors and the town in terms of a tourist’s overall stay; to meet the demands of tourists with qualified and multi-lingual staff, and the improvement and growth of the regional economy. The business works from two locations in the historic centre of Erice-the strategic Gazebo at Porta Trapani and the prestigious Erice Municipal Wine shop. The welcoming of tourists and the information-giving service operates from April to October, with flexible opening times adjusted to suit the flow of tourists.
Gazebo Porta Trapani is to be found at the entrance to Porta Trapani, one of the busiest places in Erice, in front of the cable-car station and the main car park, which is also used by bus and Tour Operating companies. The tourist receives maps (in 2014 Erice Tourism printed and distributed around 60,000), brochures and the information necessary to best organize their own stay not only in Erice but also in the surrounding area. The visitor can also choose to visit the medieval village with a panoramic tour on board a tourist train. In a year Erice Tourism help around 160,000 tourists.

The Municipal Wine Bar/Shop of Erice works both as a tourist information point and as a window into the territory, dedicated to the promotion of typical gastronomical products and local culture ( wine, oil, cheese, local arts and crafts, etc.) Various types of activity are organized here (themed evenings, educational seminars), aimed not only at tourists but also at residents, in collaboration with public and private bodies with the intention of making the most of the territory and the strategic location. Moreover, the wine shop offers the opportunity to taste and buy the most exclusive wines of the Trapani region. Tasting evenings are also organized with a small buffet of typical products for organized groups (of a maximum of 50 people).
