Il Locomotiv è live club, etichetta discografica, laboratorio video e studio di registrazione; l’obiettivo dell’associazione è arricchire l’offerta culturale della nostra città, portare a Bologna alcune tra le band e gli artisti più importanti attivi sulla scena contemporanea e coltivare quella delle band locali.
Aperto dal 2007, il Locomotiv ha prodotto più di 500 concerti, tra iquali Built To Spill, Jesus Lizard, Pan Sonic, The Germs, Lali Puna, Suicide, The Pop Group, James Chance, Jamie Lidell, Caribou, Four Tet, Swans, Iron & Wine, Verdena, Julie Cruise, Deerhunter, Anna Calvi, Melvins, St Vincent, Tune Yards, Mulatu Astsake, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, !!!, Codeine e molti altri.
La Locomotiv Records, nata nel 2010, ha prodotto quattro dischi, in ordine The Crazy Crazy World Of Mr Rubik (Are You Crazy Or Crazy Crazy? 2010), Eveline (αω -2011), Above The Tree & The E-Side (Wild -
2012), Melampus (2012).

Locomotiv is a live music club, a record label with recording studio and video-lab.
Our aim is to enrich Bologna cultural landscape bringing some of the most important and influential artists within the
world music scene and Bologna music scene.
