Altea mood
“À rebours”, controcorrente. Così è Altea, a cominciare dalla sua storia. E’ partita dall’accessorio per formulare, nel corso degli anni, un’idea completa di abbigliamento uomo e donna. Nasce a fine Ottocento nel centro storico di Milano come cravattificio. Promuove una prima svolta negli anni Settanta con la creazione di foulard e accessori tessili. Successivamente: maglie, camicie, giacche, cappotti, pantaloni e gonne.
Collezioni create con l’occhio dell’accessorista: grande passione per il colore; tessuti personalizzati; grande attenzione al dettaglio; i codici della cravatteria che, trasferiti su maglie, giacche e camicie, diventano un segno distintivo della moda Altea.

“À rebours”, against the tide. This is the proper expression to describe Altea and its history. It began with accessories but developed throughout the years complete men and women apparel. Altea was born as a tie factory in the old Milan city centre at the end of the 19th century. The first turning point was in the Seventies, when the company launched its scarves and textile accessories. Later came sweaters, shirts, jackets, coats, trousers and skirts.
Collections are designed by someone who has a long experience in accessory production: great passion for colour, customised fabrics, great attention to the details. The standards and the taste of tie manufacturing are employed for knitwear, jackets and shirts, becoming a distinguishing feature of Altea’s fashion.
