Voluto dal commendatore Aristide Vacchino e inaugurato il 31 maggio 1963. Oltre al Festival della Canzone Italiana, il Teatro Ariston ospita poesia, balletto, lirica, convegni, fitness, mostre, cabaret, trasmissioni televisive, manifestazioni musicali.
Il Centro Ariston oggi è costituito dalle sale: Ariston (1909 posti), Ritz (390 posti), Cinema Roof Sala 1 (384 posti), Roof Sala 2 (135 posti), Roof Sala 3 (135 posti), Roof Sala 4 (35 posti) che si trovano nello stesso stabile sito in Corso Matteotti 107. A 200 mt dal Teatro Ariston sono situate altre due sale: il Cinema Centrale (664 posti) e la Sala Tabarin (96 posti) , che si trovano in Corso Matteotti 226, presso il Palazzo degli Spettacoli.
