Ambiente strepitoso e panorami mozzafiato, La Thuile, comune situato nella parte nord-occidentale della Regione Autonoma Valle d’Aosta, è una chicca delle Alpi Graie al confine italo-francese, circondata da una parte dalla spettacolare catena del Monte Bianco e dall’altra dal Ghiacciaio del Rutor.
Il borgo, con una superficie di 126,13 km2 e con 767 abitanti denominati Tchuileins, ha mantenuto una precisa identità di montagna. Accogliente in tutte le sue forme e ancorata alle origini, La Thuile sorge a 1.450 metri e dista 40 minuti da Aosta.
Grazie alla sua felice posizione geografica, offre una lunga stagione invernale con un comprensorio internazionale che può contare su 160 km di piste e un’estate in grado di soddisfare le esigenze di escursionisti più o meno esperti, appassionati alpinisti, amanti della natura e dello sport e della mountain bike.

Unique environment with breathtaking views, La Thuile, a commune located in the north-western part of the Regione Autonoma Valle d’Aosta, is a rarity of the Graian Alps, right on the border with France, surrounded by the wonderful Mont Blanc chain on the one side and by the Rutor Glacier on the other side. The town, whose area is 126,13 km2 wide and whose inhabitants, called Tchuileins, are 767, kept its mountain identity. Always welcoming and cosy, but linked to its origins, La Thuile is located at 1.450 m and is 40 minutes far from Aosta. Thanks to its geographical position, it offers a long winter season with an international skiing area with 160 km of ski slopes and a summer that can satisfy the needs of any kind of excursionists, from the beginners to the experts, but also nature, Mountain bike and sports lovers.
