Ursino Buskers è il festival dedicato alle arti di strada e performative che porta la magia e il fascino buskers nel quartiere storico del Castello Ursino.

Per tre giorni le strade e le piazze del nostro quartiere vengono invase da musicanti, teatranti, giocolieri e circensi, venuti da terre lontane e vicine per dar vita a spettacoli che emozionano grandi e piccini.

Il festival nasce con l’obiettivo di promuovere le arti di strada e la cultura buskers nella nostra città e riappropriarci di uno dei quartieri più belli e suggestivi del centro storico catanese, lasciato troppo spesso al degrado e all'abbandono.

Come tutte le iniziative promosse da Gammazita, si tratta di un progetto nato dal basso, auto-organizzato ed auto-finanziato, ed è per questo motivo che Ursino Buskers è il Festival dei catanesi perché è realizzato solo grazie al sostegno dei cittadini.
Ursino Buskers, infatti, oltre ad essere un festival annuale è anche un progetto più ampio che durante l’anno promuove laboratori e workshop formativi dai costi popolari ed aperti a tutti gli appassionati e i curiosi che abbiano voglia di approcciarsi alle arti di strada, spaziando dalla musica, al teatro, alla giocoleria.

The first Street Art Festival. From third weekend of September jugglers, musicians, actors and circus in the streets around Castello Ursino.

Ursino Buskers is a festival of street arts and performance, which will bring the magic and charm of buskers to Castello Ursino
It will be a wonderful party! For three days the streets and squares of our neighbourhood will be invaded by musicians, actors, jugglers and circus performers who have come from far away to amuse adults and children.
The festival wants to promote street arts and busking culture in our city as well as reclam one of the most beautiful and evocative areas of the city too often left to decay and deprivation.
Like all the initiatives promoted by Gammazita, it is a grassroots project, self-organized and self-funded, which is why we need everyone's help!
